The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON, Akwa Ibom State Chapter have commended Governor Udom Emmanuel for his foresight in constructing a permanent Isolation Centre at Ituk Mbang general hospital.
Chairman of Eket Local Government and ALGON leader for Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Frank Archibong who spoke on behalf of his colleagues when they visited the site of the ongoing construction of the Isolation Centre to assess the level and quality of work, said, Governor Emmanuel has done exceedingly well to build the centre as a part of his comprehensive plan to arrest the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
Hon. Frank who lauded the governor for all the proactive measures he has so far implemented to tackle the outbreak of COVID-19 in the State also commended his Honourable Commissioner for Works, Mr Ephraim Inyangeyen for working relentlessly around the clock to deliver the project on schedule and adding value to the State Government.
ALGON pledged their unwavering support for the governor and urged the people of the State to support his completion agenda.
