For the first time, Im making a strong statement on NATASHA AKPOTI and the Ajaokuta Steel Revival dream. This opinion is personal to the writer and without the consent of the personality in suggestion.
The Revival of the steal company must not start and end on a political cardboard. It’s mention or promise was one of APC’s strongest strategic campaign instruments for the overwhelming victory of GOV. YAHAYA BELLO for a second term. A promise remains a debt until it is seen to be kept.
Until a strong commission or agency for the revival of the steel factory is established, nothing worthwhile will ever emerge and when President Buhari goes in 2023, that will be the end of the dream. Mark my words.
Our teaming graduates and youths need to be engaged with jobs. Therefore, if anything worthwhile will emerge in revamping the industry, there is no other Nigerian as fit, competent and prepared to make it happen with a specific vision and contemporary supervisory acumen like the world-class young, energetic and decissive Kogi Born accomplisher, the Amazon, BARR. NATASHA AKPOTI. Get her to head such ‘Commission’ or ‘Agency’ now and she will help Nigeria turn the table around once and for ever.
