Olusegun Obasanjo is the only man in Nigeria’s history to handover power twice — in 1979 (Shehu Shagari) and 2007 (Umar Yar’Adua).

Interestingly;

  1. The two men were Muslims.
  2. The two men were teachers.
  3. The two men were Fulanis from North-West Nigeria.
  4. The two men were elected presidents.
  5. The two men didn’t complete their tenures.
