Kogi Gov. Yahaya Bello Signed N102B of 2020 Revered appropriation bill into Law

The executive governor of Kogi state, Alh. Yahaya Bello has signed 2020 bill, termed reserved appropriation bill into law.

Muhammad Onogwu, the chief press secretary to governor, who disclosed the development on his social media handle, said that a total of N102 billion was signed into law, on 21st of May 2020 by the governor.

Reacting to the reverse bill, the state commissioner for finance, Budget and Economic planning, Hon Asiwaju Idris Asiru, described the bill as poor, stating that the main purpose of the initial bill, is to improve the living standard of ordinary men in Kogi State.

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello on Thursday, signed the 2020 revised Appropriation bill of N102b into law. The State’s Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon Asiwaju Idris Asiru who described the 2020 budget as pro-poor noted that it was basically prepared to ensure the improvement of the living standard of the common man. He said the budget will tackle Health Care Delivery, Education, Security and Agriculture
