Kogi State open discussion with Foreign investors on Solid Minerals Sector – Engr Bashir

Kogi State on it way to make the State hub for foreign investors, by opening discussion with foreign countries that are ready to invest in Natural and Mineral sectors.

The state in Nigeria with highest number of natural resources were left untapped for decades now.

In a bids to create jobs for youths and also generate revenue for the state, the States government has commenced discussion with the world leaders of Solid Mineral resources for possible partnership.

The development was disclosed by Kogi State Commissioner for solid Mineral and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Muhammad Bashir Gegu.

Hon. Bashir said Russia, Australia, South Africa and others countries had already been contacted by the state government.

Bashir said “Kogi state is getting it right in the solid minerals sector by opening investment discussion with world leaders of solid minerals development like Austria, Russia, South Africa etc.
His Excellency has already created the environment needed for partnership with investors. Kogi state is on right track for employment opportunity and wealth creation through Solid Minerals.”
