Sir TC Okere, the former Director-General of Imo Broadcasting Corporation is on the run after he allegedly stabbed his wife to death. The sad incident took place this morning in Imerenwe in Ngor-Okpala council area of Imo State.
Till her demise, the late wife of the former Director-General was a retiree of the Imo State Polytechnic Umuagwo. We’re still unsure of the circumstances surrounding her death.
The spokesman of the Imo state police command, Mr Orlando Ikeokwu (SP), who confirmed the incident, said that the police will commence an investigation into the matter soon. He said:
“It is true that the former Director-General of the state-owned broadcasting corporation TC Okere allegedly stabbed the wife to death this morning and the command will soon commence an investigation into the matter.”
