Lagos will run out of bed space in three weeks if we keep recording high COVID-19 cases – Akin Abayomi

Health Commissioner, Akin Abayomi, disclosed at a press conference in Lagos, that the state will run out of bed spaces if the number of COVID-19 cases continue to rise.

He stated that Lagos State was developing strategies in order to manage the asymptomatic patients at home to avoid the escalation which will cause the need for isolation centres.

He said clearly, “If we carry on with the rate of positive testing that we are obtaining, we are going to run out of isolation centres”.
