Covid-19: NCDC Credit Jigawa State with 7 false New case of Covid-19

The Nigeria Center for Disease controls (NCDC) yesterday credit Jigawa State with false Covid-19 case.

NCDC in it announced of new case recorded in Nigeria, announced 7 new case for Jigawa State, the case turn out to be the case previously confirm.

Meanwhile the center quick to figure it out and reanounced their result.

According to the official twitter handle of NCDC ” Yesterday, we erroneously reported 7 new cases in Jigawa. Following further review, we can confirm that these were repeat tests for previously confirmed cases

We apologise for this error and remain committed to ensuring transparent and accurate reporting of test results”
