Some young Nigerian women have took to the social media in reaction to the death of a young lady, Juliet Ita, popularly known as Mhiz Amber, whose body was found in the house she was living with her sugar Daddy, Jim Roach in Calabar, Cross River State.
While some of the respondents condemned the circumstances surrounding the incident, others attributed the death of Juliet, who is said to be five months pregnant, to her love for money.
The foreign lover is said to have told the Police that Juliet committed suicide following an argument they had last Friday.
Her friends who took to Facebook, dismissed the claim, calling on the Police for thorough investigation.
Report has it that the Calabar Slay Queen was beaten to death by her white man lover she has been living with for seven years.
One of her friend said “All we want is Justice for Juliet because we know she was full of life, had a baby on the way & nothing can make her take her own life. She was ready to move on from this abusive man!! She asked for a pay off of N5million and this man said no that he will pay her N2 million, but N1million first and the remaining N1million to be paid N100,000 monthly. She wanted to leave because she loves herself and child so much. She wanted to leave so she can start up a little business and take care of herself and her unborn child (I have prove) today she is dead! It’s been 4 days since she died and the man is still walking free!!! Mhiz Amber Unrulyjulie you cant just go like that!!!!! #justiceforjuliet.
According to her “I beg the Governor, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade to see that this vibrant girl that loved Cross River State so much and always organized shows to help in improving tourism, made the state fun for men, women, living and visiting Cross River State, please her i beg of you to see that she gets JUSTICE!!!! That man can’t come to our country live happily, enjoy our young girls and kill our friend, sister, daughter and above all an expecting mother.
Another of her friend also said “Before Juliet found out that she was pregnant, she had already decided to end the relationship and asked Roach to pay her off with N5million but he allegedly agreed to pay her N2.2 million and was yet to fulfill the promise before her death.
In her reaction, Chineyere Mpamah said “I no just understand how our girls will be joking with this frustrated poor downtrodden Oyibo men. Can a black man try this in America or China with their girls? This smelling oyibos just are too lucky here. We have to say enough to this madness. I wish I am anywhere close to that Oyibo man, before he rot in jail, I will make sure the remaining leg is dismantled and that his stupid face disorganised. Mtchww, may her soul rip.
Melvin Benjamin also wrote “what was a pretty girl like her doing with that old man. People need to take it easy with their quest for money. Now she is gone. There may be no justice for her. I wish she took that N1million and left in peace.My condolences to her family.
