It has been brought to our notice that a woman unleashed dogs on a keke napep driver over N3,500.
The Lagos State Police command have arrested a 40-year-old woman, Mojisola Awe for allegedly assaulting a tricycle rider and unleashing her dogs on him over money issues.
According to the police, the incident occurred at Santa Maria Street, off Isuti road in Egan, Igando.
Mrs. Awe, who coordinates tricycle daily remittance, and her two sons, were said to have attacked and assaulted the victim identified as Muhammed Abdulhammed, 33, for delaying to remit N3,500 daily returns on Monday.
It was gathered that while they assaulted him, one of her sons unleashed his two giant dogs on Abdulhammed, causing him grave injuries.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Igando Police division, Taiwo Kashumu, said after the attack, Mrs. Awe reported at the station that she was assaulted by the tricyclist.
But during interrogation with both parties, the truth was uncovered. According to multiple source, the woman is in the habit of using her son to intimidate or assault the tricycle operators should there be a breach.
