Vice President Osinbajo Offers Aid to Widows of Fallen Soldiers

The vice president of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo through his special assistant on community engagement, Toyosi Onaolapo and Babafemi Ojudu, Special Adviser to the President on political matters have provided gifts and aid to three widows of young soldiers that died in line of duty.

This was made known by Ojudu through a social media post where he acknowledged the Vice President for creating time in searching out wives of soldiers killed in frontline duty in the North East and giving them assistance.

According to Ojudu, the vice president has adopted a systematic way of searching for these women, visiting their homes and offering them lifeline in the way of employment, retraining and empowerment to start a trade or learn one since they have children to take care of and other responsibilities to meet.
