Again, Bandits Attack Katsina Communities, Kill Three Persons
some villages in Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State, were attacked by suspected bandits in the early of Monday, killing three persons and kidnapping one person.
Eyewitness, and a resident of the area who speak to newsmen, said that the attackers made away with a large number of their animals and food items.
He further confirmed that the bandits attacked the villages at about 1:00am when people are still sleeping with guns on motorcycles.
This attack come a day after the resident stage a protest over frequent killing in the state by bandits.
The protesters called for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Aminu Masari.
In May, bandits attacked communities in Katsina State, killing at least 30 persons.
Musa Umar Uba, village head of Daura, President Buhari’s hometown in Katsina, was also kidnapped by bandits in the process.
