Top 5 underrated ps2 games

If I see one more “Underrated PS2 Games” list that features ICO or Fahrenheit I’m going to scream. Those are both amazing games, but they get enough recognition. Head on over to the PS Store now and you can buy them digitally. Clearly, somebody hasn’t forgotten about them.

Some games were so good that we want to play again, some were just so bad and we wish not to hear of again .

Some I’m going to run down 5 most underrated ps2 games that you should try:

  1.  Scarface: The world is yours: Actually this game is loved by all and not necessarily underrated but it’s very impossible to play if you don’t have the original copy and a ps2, This game has seriously been neglected by the games Industry. Guiding Tony Montana through his journey to the top has to be one of the most favourite PS2 memories. First, you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the women. You also get a giant mansion, plenty of upgrades, cars, and a tiger. If you’ve not played Scarface: The World is Yours yet find a way to do so.

  2. Rygar: The legendary adventure: Why does nobody ever talk about Rygar – The Legendary Adventure? It’s a great game that deserves a hell of a lot more recognition than it ever got.. Some people go as far as to call this game the original God of War. If you fancy playing God of War, give Rygar a shot; one of the truly great underrated PS2 games.

  3. Shadows of Rome: The game offers a unique half stealth, half hack-and-slash experience that very few other games had at that time. Players take on the role of a fierce gladiator, Agrippa, for the action sequences as well as a young man, Octavianus, for the stealth sections. Both characters fight their way through Rome in search of the truth about Julius Caesar’s assassination.

  4. Freedom fighters:Freedom Fighters is another third-person shooter that’s earned a spot of many underrated video game lists. The game is set in an alternate universe where the Soviet Union controls New York City. The communist regime abuses its power by mistreating New York’s citizens. A plumber named Chris Stone becomes fed up with the Soviet Union’s mistreatment and leads members of a resistance movement as they try to reclaim the great city of New York.

  5. Darkwatch: Curse of the west :A lesser known FPS, Darkwatch was a great game set in a Gothic Wild West. Protagonist Jericho Cross was an outlaw on the verge of one of his biggest train robberies. Unfortunately, he targeted a train belonging to the Darkwatch, an order of monster hunters, and he released a powerful vampire lord. After he’s turned into a vampire by said lord, he’s enlisted into the ranks of the Darkwatch, and has to fight against the force he released into the world.Darkwatch featured solid FPS gameplay with horse riding shooter segments and some useful vampiric abilities, which were unavailable in missions set during the daytime, making the player rely on standard tactics. It had a great art style, and was originally planned as a series, but this never happened as the sequel was canned.
