Buhari Confirm Victor Giadom as the Acting National Chairman of APC
The Saga on who to be the national Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) following the suspension of Adam Aliyu Oshiomohle may has come to an end, as President Muhammad Buhari finally speak on who to take over from Oshiomohle.
President Buhari Who speak through his Senior Special advisers on Media and Publicity’s, Garba Shehu, on 24th of June 2020, reveal that President Buhari is on the side who court decide to be the national Chairman of the party.
According Shehu, President Buhari said law favour Victor Giadom, as such he can’t go against the law.
Shehu Further discloses that Victor Giadom and President Buhari are going to hold meeting tomorrow.
Shehu said “In response to enquiry by some State House Correspondents:
The President has received very convincing advice on the position of the law as far as the situation in the party is concerned and has determined that the law is on the side of Victor Giadom as Acting National Chairman. Because he will always act in accordance with the law, the President will be attending the virtual meeting Giadom called for tomorrow afternoon.
We urge the media to stop promoting manufactured controversies and to not give any further room for mischievous interpretations of the law on this matter.
In addition to the President, the Giadom meeting will, hopefully, be attended by our Governors and the leaders of the National Assembly.”
