JUST IN: Nigerian Army reacts to death of man killed by Lt. Gen. Buratai’s convoy

Nigerian Army has reacted to the death of a 75-year-old man, Alh. Salisu Ibrahim of Filin Samji who was killed by the convoy of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur in Katsina, Monday.

The convoy was said left the corpses of the man on the road and left

Army in Statement signed, Tuesday, the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sagir Musa, condoled with the family of the deceased, said the incident happened when the vehicles went to refuel and were expected to pick up the commander, 17 Brigade later.

According to him, a delegation of the Army led by the Brigade Commander has paid a condolence visit to the family and will be fully involved in the burial rites of the deceased.
