Pharm Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu urged more citizenry involvement in the health sector

The Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu has urged for the involvement of well meaning citizens in the State’s health sector

He made this clarion call on Wednesday after commissioning a newly completed medical facility, Shifaah Hospital built by two Medical doctors located in Lokoja the State Capital.

The COS lauded the effort of both Dr. Ashraff Abdulkareem and Dr. Muazu Musa for their kind gesture noting that such medical edifice and services would further cater for the health needs of the people of the state.

The COS noted that he was confident that the future of the state was bright noting that more of such infrastructures were in the pipeline with many other promising professionals who are also passionate about the state.

He expressed the commitment of the State Government to continue to support any project that would contribute meaningfully to its infrastructural development.

In his remarks, Dr. Ashraff Abdulkareem, the Chief Medical Director of the newly commissioned hospital noted that they have incubated for a while the desire to contribute their own quota to the health sector in the State.

He expressed that hospitals play a major role in rendering health care services to the people adding that as medical practitioners engaging in such gesture was quiet fulfilling.
