City scored their third and fourth goal in the 58th and 65th minute respectively through goals from Ferdrico’s own goal and an amazing precise free-kick from David Silva 25 yards out. It was all capped up with a superb goal from Raheem Sterling at added time.

City with this victory all but seals Their second place finish. They are still 23 points away from Liverpool in first but they now stand nine points above Chelsea in third.

With the way they defeated Newcastle on Wednesday showing their highly dominative play, one would beg to ask how have they lost nine times this season.
