Billy Gilmour was substituted for Jorginho in the 80th minute in the 3-2 win against Crystal palace at the Selhurst park last timeout. After his collision with Luka Milivojevic in the 19th minute he managed to carry on all the way through to the second half.
This is another big loss in the midfield department for Frank Lampard who is also without Ngolo Kante also sidelined due to hamstring problems. But Midfielder, Mateo Kovacic is expected to return this weekend for Chelsea against Sheffield United giving Chelsea a slight ray of light.
Billy has had a stellar breakthrough season for The blues in this present 2019/2020 campaign recording 11 first team appearances for Chelsea.
His injury would give opportunity to Jorginho to get back to the starting line up after being restricted to bench activities by the young Scot.
