EFCC receives stolen oil vessel, nine suspects from the Military

Men of the Joint Military Task Force has handed over a vessel named MT Morris along with nine crew members to the Port Harcourt zonal office of the EFCC on Friday, July 10, 2020.

The nine suspects handed over include Felix Eboh, Ovie Idisi, Bob Davies, Ojo Sunday, Oluwale Olaitan, Orok Oyo, Godwin Okpaje, Francis Chinbo and Olanioyi Goodness.

Colonel N.C.E Ejike, the representative of Sector Three of the Task Force, who led the handing over, revealed that the vessel and the suspects were apprehended by officers of 29 Battalion, Nigeria Army.

The force men were deployed for anti-bunkering operations at Bile in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The suspects were nabbed while they were stealing petroleum products suspected to be crude oil from a pipeline.
