It could the be recall that the staff of Federal Medical Center Lockdown Proceed on total Lockdown of the only Hospital the State following the attack by Gunmen to prevent them from having meeting.
Omokoshaban learn that the staff of the hospital call for a meetings among themselves to resolved on how to compelled the State Governments to established Covid-19 testing in the State, but were attacked by unknown gunmen and made away with medical record of some patients and files from the MD office.
The incident led to the total Lockdown of the hospital which commenced on 1st of July 2020.
The hospital were still Lockdown with some patients with critical conditions lying helplessly on the hospital bed without doctors or nurse to attend to them.
A resident who lament the hardships the lockdown has cause said “O’GOD of mercy,Federal Medical Center Lokoja (FMCL) in Kogi state of Nigeria,getting to two weeks today that is totally locked down, this is the only biggest hospital in Kogi state, that more than thousands of patients are receiving their treatment every day since was found, but, since on 1-07-2020 is locked down and nothing was done on it,people are suffering, people are crying, I am pleading for the Federal government( FG) to intervene in this issue.”
