Senate Call For review of Age, For Jobs Seekers

Yesterday, the Senate passed a resolution urging the executive arm of government to direct the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity to set up a Committee to review the age limit for job seekers in the country.

The resolution which was made, following a motion brought before the Senate by Senator Ibrahim Gobir is to allow competent applicants to be employed by the Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government.

We’ll ensure that the ministry swing into action immediately and implement this resolution because it is not a fault of these young Nigerians that people are discriminated against. They’ll tell you only 30 years limit, meanwhile someone graduated ten years ago.
