EFCC arrests man, his mother, girlfriend for suspected internet fraud

EFCC operatives have arrested a man, his mother and his girlfriend for engaging in suspected Internet fraud.

On Thursday July 16, 2020, operatives of the commission, Benin Zonal Office arrested a 22-year old Computer Science Undergraduate of the University of Port Harcourt, Kenneth Gift, his girl friend, Dandy Spice and mother, Dorah Aninah.

They were picked up for suspected internet fraud in Agbor, Delta State.

In a statement released by the agency, it was gathered that their arrest was hinged on a petition from the US Federal Bureau of investigation, FBI.

Items recovered from them at the point of arrest include a 5-bedroom duplex, Mercedes-Benz CA250, Mercedes-Benz C250, Mercedes Benz GLK 350, laptop computers and mobile phones.

It was disclosed that they made useful statements and will be charged to court as soon investigations are complete.
