Group has warn President Muhammad Buhari to suspend Godswill Akpabio, former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, who now the Minister of Niger Delta Development Commission, (NDDC) or he should stepped aside to allowed Presidential investigate panel (PIP) investigate him of the alleged corruption play in NDDC.
Adeyanju Deji, the leader of Convener for good governance who speak on behalf of the group, disclose this on his official Facebook page.
He said “Akpabio should step aside for 2 weeks or be suspended to allow a presidential investigative panel investigate all the corruption allegations in NDDC & his role in the attempted abduction of Mrs. Joy Nunieh. We will commence a mass action next week if nothing is done about this issue. It can’t be swept under the carpet.”
Akpabio was accuse by Mrs. Joy Nunieh who is a former Director of NDDC of corruption and sexual harassment, which lead police send by Unknown to besiege her house in port Harcourt yesterday morning, to arrest her.
But she was saved by River state Governor, Nyesom Wike who drove to her house and peak her to government house in port Harcourt.
