I am still pained! What is the name of the “Classmate” who killed Tolulope? How come there has been no single mention of him in all the multitude of official and unofficial reports?
Again the official cover up is very upsetting. The days are long gone when we will lap up every information fed to us by the government. Daily, we are barraged with bad news. Daily, we read news of our youths peddling drugs, scamming powerful banks and corporations. We don’t get to see and hear a young man or woman setting the pace often. Lord, this death is biting! A young lady, a first in her field was cut off in her prime. This is not an act of God. This is an act of man. Attributing this kind of bad event to God absolves the perpetrator(s) of responsibility and accountability for their crimes or mistakes.
We may never know the true circumstances of her death. However, let it be on record that we aren’t zombies. Let it be noted that it is daylight in Nigeria, we think, and we asked questions.
