Breaking: President Muhammad Buhari adopt resolution by the Senates to Sacked service Chief

President Muhammad Buhari has adopted the resolution by senates to sacked Nigerian services chief.

Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President
on Media and Publicity, disclosed this in statement after Tuesdays 21st of July 2020 senate presiding.

Adesina while reacting to the resolution by the Senates calling for resignation or sacked of service chief over prolonged security challenge in the country, says president Muhammad Buhari will do what is in the best interest of Nigerians all the times.

Adesina said “service chiefs: position of Presidency on resolution by the senate

The Senate Tuesday adopted a resolution calling on the Service Chiefs to resign or be sacked due to the multi-pronged security challenges in the country.
The Presidency notes the resolution, and reiterates that appointment or sack of Service Chiefs is a Presidential prerogative, and President Muhammadu Buhari, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, will do what is in the best interest of the country at all times.”
