The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has tested postive for covid-19.
He revealed this on his Twitter page.
He tweeted:
” I took my third covid-19 test testerday and it came back positive. I’m generally ok and I’m already self isolating at home and receiving the best of care from my medical team. I’m delegating critical tasks to my Deputy but will continue routine duty from home. JKF”
Fayemi becomes the latest political office holder in the country to contract the disease after Omokoshaban News reported last week that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama had also contracted the disease.
