Police has used tear gas to dispersed rallies over Hong Kong riot.

The incident which happen in China city lead to the detention of over hundred people by the police and 5 people arrested.

According to AJ+, the new security law in China permits activists to be charged with life imprisonment for subversion.

Confirming the report, AJ+ tweets “Hong Kong riot police used tear gas to disperse rallies marking the 1 yr anniversary of attacks by govt supporters on pro-democracy protesters. Hundreds were detained & at least 5 arrested.
