Serie A final day: Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s AC Milan ends the season on a high, remains unbeaten since the Restart.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic missed a penalty but made amends later on to help AC Milan defeat Cagliari and remain unbeaten since the restart. The 38-year old, could well have played his last match for AC Milan on his return back to the club with his contract coming to an end although they are speculations of another contract to be given.

AC Milan went ahead when Ragnar Klavan scored an own goal in the 11th minute after a rebound ball from the goal post hit him. AC Milan were awarded a penalty when Sebastian Walukiewicz handled the ball in the 18 yard box . Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepped up but was denied the penalty goal as it was saved by Alessio Cragno just a minute before the break.

On return to play in the second half, Zlatan Ibrahimovic made amends for his penalty miss scoring in the 55th minute with an Amazing Finish from a Samu Castillejo’s pass. Castillejo was at it again this time exchanging passes with Giacoma Bounaventura to score AC Milan third two minutes later.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic goal on Saturday was his 10th of the season in the league which then made him the oldest player to score 10 or more goals in a particular season in the Serie A.
