Naira Marley has been arraigned by the Lagos state police command before the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Oshodi, for flouting the presidential ban on interstate travels during the lockdown period.

It can be recalled that the singer whose real name is Azeez Fashola flew to Abuja, the nation’s capital for a drive-through concert that took place at the Jabi Lake Mall during the COVID-19 lockdown.

This action stirred a lot of controversy after videos from it showed guests flouting all COVID-19 protocols.

Asides sealing the mall up, the Federal government shut down the operations of the airline that flew the singer and his crew to Abuja for the concert.

Following an invitation, Naira Marley turned himself in to the police command this morning, and he was then taken to court.
