Unknown gunmen abducted the Warri North Local Government Council Chairman, Mr. Aduge Okorodudu on Saturday at about 8:25pm
The gunmen, who waylaid the victim’s vehicle, are presently heading towards Ovwian Area in Udu Local Government.
Officers and men of the Nigeria Police in collaboration with the Udu Central Vigilante are said to be on the trail of the gunmen.
The incident has caused serious tension among residents of Udu and the political class in the area.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, is yet to confirm the development.
