PhotoNews: A month and 13 days Today Federal Medical Center Lokoja under lock with key, Only biggest Hospital in Kogi state

Today will make it one month and 13 days the Federal medical Center (FMC) Lokoja, Kogi state capital was lock down.

The only biggest hospital in Kogi state, were ordinary people can afford is in total Lock with Key, since the inversion of the hospital by some armed thugs men to disrupt the staff meeting.

Recall that, following the emergence of Coronavirus pandemic, Kogi State governor insist his state is free of the virus, despite some people were tested positive to the virus in the state.

The staff of the hospital covey a meeting with aim of meeting with state governor, to urge him to open testing center in the state.

But the meeting didn’t end well as unknown gunmen invade the hospital, chase the staff out of the meeting, and made away with some files from the MD offices.

Since then, the Hospital is under lock with key.

The state government refuse to make any effort to see the Hospital resume operation.

After the incident, Governor Yahaya Bello promise to provide alternative hospital for the people of Kogi state, but people are yet to see any alternative provided by the state government.
