Bandits Killed one, Kidnapped Ex Commissioner Children in Zamfara

“One person was shot dead, while a woman was wounded in the process.”

Suspected bandits in the early Hour of Tuesday 18th of July 2020, storm ex-commissioner for local Government in Zamfara state, Alhaji Bello Dankande Gamji kidnapped his children.

Source who speak with newsmen reveal that the bandits fired several short into the house of Gamji, believing that he is at home, neighbor who come to rescued the children was killed in the process.

Confirming the report, Muhammad Shehu, spokesperson for the Zamfara Police Command, in a statement, add that one woman also sustained injuries from the attack.

He said, “At about 4:30am, a large number of armed men invaded the house and kidnapped two of his children and two others including an NSCDC officer on guard duty at the house.

“One person was shot dead, while a woman was wounded in the process.”
