Bashir Gegu congratulate newly appointed Chairman of State Civil Service Commission, Barr. Tanko Musa and Hon Idris Aliyu

Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu has congratulated the newly appointed Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Barr Muhammed Tanko Musa and Hon Idris Aliyu who was recently given the portfolio of Senior Special Assistant to Governor Bello on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Engr Gegu described the positions as deserving, noting that they were square pegs in the right holes given the antecedents of the appointees.

According to him, Barr Musa, who was the Administrator for Kogi Local Government Area for almost four years had demonstrated unique skills in leadership and commitment to the cause of the ruling APC and the new direction government under Governor Yahaya Bello.

He stressed that he had no doubt in his ability to turn around the fortunes of the Civil Service Commission positively to the pride and admiration of government.

On the new SSA on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, the Commissioner said Hon Aliyu was an astute teacher and committed educationist with knowledge that spans other spheres of human endeavour.

He said the appointment was well deserved and that he would be a positive addition to the number of people of credible characters in the government of Governor Bello.

He then thanked the Governor for the opportunity given to people of his Local Government to serve, assuring him that like himself, they would make the government proud in their duty posts.
