BREAKING: Federal Govt of Nigeria approves N13bn for take-off of community policing

The Federal Government has permitted the sum of N13.3bn for the take-off of community policing initiative throughout the country.

The approval is phase of measures aimed at containing the safety scenario in the country.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, disclosed this in an announcement on Thursday titled “FG approves N13bn for take-off of neighborhood policing in Nigeria.”

“Other reviews acquired via council at today’s meeting covered reports on the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country; flood disaster risk management in Nigeria for 2020, and the problem of compensation repayments regarding federal highway tasks throughout the country.
