Nigeria Power grid records peak of 5,420.30MW — Ndidi

The nation’s electricity quarter has completed an all-time countrywide peak of 5,420.30MW, which used to be successfully transmitted via the countrywide grid at a frequency of 50.10Hz at 9:15pm, August 18th, 2020.

The GM (Public Affairs) at the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, Ndidi Mbah, explained via a statement issued in Abuja that, “This is the very best ever recorded in the nation’s energy area to-date, surpassing the previous top of 5,377.80MW recorded on the 1st of August, 2020, through 42.50MW.”
