Kidnappers Demand N10M Ransom for Husband and Wife Kidnapped in Omoko Community in Kogi State

The abductors of Lukman and his wife the indigenes of Omoko community in Kogi Kotonkarfe Local government area of Kogi State, has demanded the sum of N10 Million ransom.

The kidnapers allegedly storm Omoko Community on the 19th of August 2020 and abduct Lukman and his wife early hours of the day when people are still sleeping.

Omokoshaban correspondent learn that Kogi state government mobilize security men and vigilantes group after the kidnappers, but there effort has not yield fruitful result, as Lukman and wife are still under captive.

Source from the community who speak with omokoshaban correspondent early hours of today’s 23rd of August 2020 confirmed that the kidnappers has reach out to the families their victims, but they are demand the sum of N10 Million ransom before the couple will be set free.

Lukman whose parent are from the community, were not living in the community, they come back home following ethnic crisis between Egbura And Bassa that broke out in the area they are living.

Incessant kidnapping has cripple daily activities in the community and the entire local Government.

The people in the local government can no longer sleep with their two eyes close because of fear of been kidnapped.
