This year’s MTV VMAs saw Lady Gaga clinching the biggest trophy haul.

She won five awards for best artist, song, collaboration and cinematography.

She also bagged the first MTV Tricon Award – for her work in music, acting and fashion.

“Just because we’re separated right now and culture may feel less alive in some ways, I know a renaissance is coming,” she said.

The Weeknd won video of the year for Blinding Lights and used his speech to demand justice for Jacob Blake and Breonna Taylor.

Meanwhile, rapper DaBaby performed on top of a police car.

Contained in the slides are pictures of Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, DaBaby, Keke Palmer, CNCO, will.i.am and Tyga.
