Gov. Zulum visited those who returned to their village, Inspects Farming activities in Dikwa

Early yesterday morning, 3rd of September 2020, His Excellency the Executive Governor of Borno state Prof Babagana Umara Zulum mini, FNSE. embarked on an official visit to Ajiri village of Mafa Local Government and Dikwa Local Government.

In Ajiri village, The Governor met with IDPs who recently returned to the village where he appreciated their resilience to return to their village and promised them governmental support. The Governor also directed the construction of shopping complex, mosques and additional water facilities to the area.

While in Dikwa, the Governor inspected over 480 hectares of land which is currently under cultivation by residents of Dikwa under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture. The Governor was impressed by the level of cultivation and promised to continue assisting the scheme for food security and sufficiency.
