Feud deepens in Edo APC as Mallam Gani Audu, Deputy Governorship aspirant of the All Progressive Party in Edo state allegedly demands 3million U.S Dollars to remain in the party as the Deputy Governorship Candidate.

Recall yesterday night, Comrade Oshiomhole, Capt Hosa Okunbo and some APC Stalwarts tried yesternight to pacify Mallam Gani Audu who threatened to dump the party cause of the perceived ill-treatment melted on him as the Deputy Governorship Candidate, he saw that he had never been given opportunity to express himself since the inception of the whole campaigns.

Report reaching us this morning from a source who pleaded anonymity confirms that at the early hours of today, Comrade Oshiomhole put a call through to Mallam Gani Audu to hold on with his embarrassing move to dump the party for PDP. Gani Audu insisted that his decision will stand and doesn’t want to be seen as a stooge to Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu just as Dr Pius Odubu to Oshiomhole who was a statue in the Government house without no impact as a Deputy Governor.

It was confirmed that the sum of 3 million dollars was given to him as a price to keep him in the party and save it from the embarrassing defection. It has not been confirmed if Mallam Audu would still want to remain in the party despite the sum sent to him this morning. According to our source, he said he would think of his next step before the close of the day cause he still feels bitter.

Oshiomhole, Captain Hosa and Ize Iyamu who already fears defeat in the coming election are sourcing various means to save the party from embarrassment and currently in touch with other party members who are secretly planning to dump the party and join the People’s Democratic Party.
