Source who confirmed the report to Omokoshaban said ” If news emanating from Zazau is true then we have lost another father. Indeed Arewa has lost a leader again. May Allah be bless with him and grant him eternal rest.”

Late Shehu Idris (born February 8, 1975 – September 20, 2020) is the 18th Fulani Emir of Zazzau and was the Chairman of Zazzau Emirate Council and Kaduna State Emirate Council. He ascended the throne on February 8, 1975 following the demise of Alhaji Muhammadu Aminu, the 17th Emir of Zazzau.
