Abu Abdullah Al-Libi, Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham Emir has been killed in Libya by Libyan National Army (LNA) fighters.
The Emir was said to have been killed along with 1 Nigerian, 3 Saudis, 1 Sudanese, 1 Egyptian and 1 Ivorian.
Edward said in a tweet “Abu Abdullah al-Libi the former spiritual head of Ansar al-Sharia in Benghazi, who switched & rose to be an ISIS emir in Libya was days ago killed by LNA fighters. He was killed alongside 8 other foreign Jihadists including 1 Nigerian, 3 Saudis, 1 Sudanese, 1 Egyptian & 1 Ivorian.”
