INDEPENDENT DAY: IPOB Declares Sit-at-home October 1, Says Biafra No Longer Interested In A Crumbling Terrorist State

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)
has called on “Biafrans home and
abroad to observe a sit-at-home on
October 1, 2020 as a show of solidarity
for Yoruba people agitating for Oduduwa Republic.”

The group said the call is aimed at
highlighting its position and resolve
“as Biafrans that Biafrans are no
longer interested in propping up a
crumbling terrorist state.”

In a statement September 23, 2020 by
IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary,
Emma Powerful, said that the group’s
leadership in conjunction with
supporters of Biafra freedom across
the globe have concluded every
arrangement to let the whole world
know and understand “that Biafra is
no longer part of the shambolic
monument to terrorism and failure.”
