The Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Asuku Moh’d Jamiu represented his boss the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello at the wedding reception of the Kogi East Zonal Chairman, Hon Ahmedi Attah in Ankpa on Saturday.
Pharm. Asuku congratulated the couple, Hon. Ahmedi Attah and Nadia Ahmed for achieving this feat while advising them to exhibit a high level of tolerance and patience which are the hallmark of a successful married life.
He said while he is confident the groom will be just to the bride, he advised the couple to pray together and communicate stating that when couples pray together and communicate they will always make their home a danger zone for enemies. He stressed that communication is very vital in establishing homes which they must strive at maintaining.
The Chief of Staff also urged the couple to live the life of sacrifice for the sake of love, peace, and harmony.
He prayed to God to grant all those who are yet to marry a good spouse whenever they are ready while advising Kogi youths to marry from any part of the state as there are well behaved and decent men and women from all parts of the state.
Pharm. Asuku reiterated that the newly wedded couple must always remain in love, build their marriage on trust and respect for each other, while also wishing them a fruitful marriage that would be a blessing to the families and the society at large.
The wedding which the Kogi State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Chief Edward David Onoja was the chairman of the occasion pulled together a large gathering of political bigwigs across the state, including Kogi East Senator, Sen. Isah Echocho, State Party Chairman, Alh. Abdullahi Bello, Deputy Speaker, Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, State and Local Government Auditor General, Hon. Yakubu Okala and Hon. Usman Ododo, Honorable Commissioners, Hon Special Advisers & other top government officials.
