Three Soldiers, and Seven Policemen Killed As Boko Haram Terrorists Attack Borno Governor, Zulum’s Convoys

Seven policemen and three soldiers were yesterday killed by Boko Haram terrorist as they lunch fresh attack on the convoys of Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State.

The Governor Convoys was heading to Baga town, ahead of the government plan to return then internally displace persons in Maiduguri when it was attacked on Friday by the terrorists along Baga Highway in the Northern part of the state.

This is the second attack the terrorist lunch on the convoys of the governor barely two months in two town within the same area.

The attack indicate that the area is a strong hold of the terrorist.

A splinter group of Boko Haram sect, the Islamic State of West Africa Province, is believed to have a stronghold in the area.

The Governor was not on the convoys when the attack occur, Omokoshaban learn that he travel with helicopter, unverified numbers of people were left with injuries.

The attack, it was learnt, that it happened at about 12pm some kilometers away from  the Multinational Joint Task Force headquarters in Baga.
