Prostitutes in Anambra State have threatened to go on strike over hardship from COVID-19 pandemic, electricity tariff and fuel price hike, forcing them to reduce their service charges to N1000 for short time and N3000 for daybreak.

Consequently, the sex workers have called on the government to reverse the hike on petrol and electricity failure of which, they will embark on strike from this Thursday, 1st of October, 2020.

A statement by the Patron of the group
Miss Uto said if the strike did not achieve their aim, they will return to work and will be forced to increase their service charge by 200%.
