Uwaila Omozuwa, the 100 level Microbiology undergraduate at the University of Benin, Edo State, Uwaila Omozuwa who was gang raped and murdered inside church has been laid to rest.
She was laid to rest on Friday at the Third Cemetary in New Benin, with her family members, friends and well-wishers in attendance.
Recall that Omozuwa was a 22yrs old girl who went to read inside redeem Christian church of God when she attack, and left to died.
She allegedly died after spending four days in the hospital.
In August, the police arrested and paraded six persons, who were later identified as Nelson Ogbebor ‘m’(27); Tina Samuel ‘f’ (45); Collins Uligbe ‘m’ (24); Mary Ade ‘f’ (45); Valentine Akato ‘ m’ and Nosa Osabohien ‘m’(31) in connection with the crime.
