Governor adegboyega Osun Statechas said that, the state has include N1.5bn for youths related activities in 2021 budget.
The governor say this when he received NAOSS, and NANS in his office yesterday.
He said “Yesterday, I was pleased to receive the leadership of the National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) and the Osun Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS). I shared with them our Administration’s plans for the youth of Osun, and also reiterated our commitment to the growth and development of our youth.
We’ve demonstrated this by voting about N1.5bn in the 2021 proposed budget for youth related activities. Osun youth are our greatest assets and we are determined to enhance their capacity & skills towards making them active contributors to overall development of Osun & the nation.
I also told the student leaders that young people should explore the options of dialogue and negotiation with the government rather than embarking on actions that could jeopardize the peace and stability of the State. Our administration is a listening one and we’re always ready to listen to and address the yearnings and aspirations of our people.”
