2.1 million children in Borno gets malaria prevention drugs

Malaria prevention drugs have been administered on 2.1million children in Borno state.

The state commissioner of health Dr Saliyu Kwaya-Bura said the government is aiming to prevent malaria in children as well as make it mild in case they contract it.

Speaking further,he said the state was able to achieve this milestone due to collaboration with the federal government and the world health organization (WHO).

Kwaya Bura said this on sunday during the fourth circle of malaria prevention programme held at tge Elmiskin IDPs camp in maiduguri.
