The Nigerian army has admitted that it gave live bullets to soldiers in an incident where at least 10 protesters were killed at Lekki Toll gate on the 20th of October 2020.
Recall that army was sent in to disperse a peaceful protest at the Lekki Toll Plaza in Lagos on October 2020.
The incident was initially denied by Nigeria army. Aftermath pressure, army admit that they were present on that day, with the order of Lagos State government.
In separate a report, army had initial stated that they shot blank armor on air to dispersed the protesters.
But Lagos government has denied inviting army to the scene.
