Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello has been issued award of recognition of partnership and support for alleged improving agriculture in Kogi State.
The award was disclosed in statement by the governor chief press secretary, Muhammad Onogwu.
Onogwu statement read “Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello bags award of recognition of partnership and support for Cassava and Rice Value Chain Development and Overall Agricultural Improvement in Kogi State by the Federal Ministry Of Agriculture and Rural Development.”
Meanwhile Kogi State governor in the last two years spend over N4 Billion in building rice mill in state.
The Governor said the rice mill will reduce the cost of rice in Kogi and it neighbouring state.
Two years down the line, Kogi Residents are yet to witness fall of the price of rice in the State.
